• The Aurora Bag is designed for quick and easy sewing. The Aurora bag features a zipper closure on a curved edge. To successfully create your Aurora bag, suggestions for suitable zippers are provided, along with detailed instructions on how to reinforce and sew the zipper onto the edge of the bag.

• Various techniques described.

The Aurora Pattern comes complete with practical features:

• Zipper closure – to keep all your belongings secure.

• Two handle height options are available: handle height 17 3/4’’ (45 cm) and handle height 21 3/4’’ (55 cm). Featuring a unique design, the handles are narrower near the side connectors and widen toward the center to ensure more comfortable carrying.

• The side connectors, which extend freely on the sides, add a touch of elegance. You can attach metal strap ends to them to further enhance the bag’s look.

  • 1/2 yard (54’’ width of fabric) Fusible Stabilizer (Decovil I, Decovil Light)
  • 2 x O gate rings (round spring hook) inner size at least 3/4’’ (If you want the hardware to
    stand out, use one with a diameter of 1’’)
  • 6 x rivets
  • 1 x 14” length of #5 all-purpose zipper tape for the closure
